Job Summary
Oversee plant operations and maintenance services across multiple long-term care facilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including CMS, Life Safety Code, NFPA, and OSHA. Lead corrective action plans for fire inspections and environmental audits while managing building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarms. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and support emergency preparedness drills. Provide direction to facility Maintenance Directors, standardize regional processes, and coordinate with vendors for capital projects and cost control. Assist with maintenance budgets, monitor regional metrics, and partner with Administrators and safety teams to resolve operational issues. Travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5–7 years of maintenance or plant operations experience in long-term care, healthcare, or regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, NFPA, OSHA, and CMS requirements
- Experience overseeing building systems and preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned region
- Technical certification or trade school

Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification or trade school
- Prior regional or multi-facility maintenance leadership experience
- Certification in healthcare facilities management (e.g., CHFM)
- Experience supporting regulatory surveys and emergency preparedness programs
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Attention to detail and regulatory compliance
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple facilities and priorities
