Job Summary
Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching support for teachers and leaders on English Language Development implementation. Deliver on-site professional development, model lessons, and assist with instructional strategies to improve student achievement for English Learners and diverse needs. Review assessment data, support reclassification processes, and ensure 100% EB compliance using Ellevation. Spend 50% of time on direct campus support, 20% on compliance work, and 10% reviewing data. This grant-funded role requires bilingual certification, a Bachelor's degree, and experience teaching EB students.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual or ESL Certification
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience teaching EB students
- Technology proficient (office 365)
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Preferred to live in the region, or willing to relocate
- Must be available for travel throughout the region
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
- Masters preferred
- Design and assist with delivering professional development for regional and campus teams around Emergent Bilingual support (Program Training, SIOP, LPAC, etc.)
- Deliver exceptional professional development around EB program which directly impact effective systems and increase leader and teacher capacity to transform and increase student academic achievement
- Coordinate and collaborate with regional team members, campus leaders, and classroom teachers EB priorities and programming
- Hold consistent Business Partnerships with regional and campus leaders
- Coach and develop campus leaders through the School Leadership Levers (SLLs) and ensure the coaching cycle is followed with fidelity on behalf of campus leaders to classroom teachers
- Ensure observations are detailed in Teach Boost
- Complete Time & Effort for position funding appropriation
