Job Summary
Dispatcher/Regional Driver Manager responsible for the day-to-day activity of the assigned driver fleet, including transmitting/receiving information, scheduling conflicts, routing plans, updating shipment status in the system, addressing driver-related issues, ensuring accurate event/time reflections, communicating service updates to clients, and enforcing carrier screening and compliance while maintaining positive relationships with drivers.
Required Qualifications
- Prior dispatch experience preferred but not necessary
- Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written & oral), multi-tasking and negotiating skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail, communication, problem solving and planning abilities
- Ability to multitask and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong computer user skills – MS Office Suite
