Job Summary
Safely operate newer-model Freightliner or Volvo sleeper tractors and 53' trailers delivering multi-stop loads across the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast. Manage hours of service and delivery timelines while communicating regularly with dispatch and customers. Return with backhauls for tri-state area deliveries and keep your assigned truck clean and professionally maintained. Use Samsara ELD with camera safety systems and optionally unload to expedite delivery when applicable. Leave Sunday or Monday, return Friday or Saturday for 5–7 days OTR with a 34+ hour reset at home every weekend. Holiday work required with departures/returns adjusted around holidays. Coverage area includes the Carolinas, New England, and Midwest as far as Chicago.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A license
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Current medical card
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the past 5 years)
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Comfortable with varied schedules (day/night driving, multi-stop loads)
- Holiday work required
- Leave Sunday or Monday, return Friday or Saturday (5–7 days OTR)
- 34+ hour reset at home every weekend
- Coverage area includes the Carolinas, New England, and Midwest (as far as Chicago)
