Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of the West Coast Florida region's strategy, goals, and action plans while managing a small team of 1-3 staff members. Oversee advocacy programs, donor cultivation, and fundraising initiatives to meet revenue targets of at least $2 million, including direct management of significant major donors. Represent AJC as a regional spokesperson to media, elected officials, and community leaders, while building coalitions and expanding the organization's presence in Naples, Longboat Key, and potentially Tampa. Supervise administrative functions, analyze department metrics, and mentor leadership talent within the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Proficient to advanced job skills and knowledge
- Proficient leadership skills
- Fundraising experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Strong organization and project management skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Capacity to multitask and work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Demonstrates financial literacy and the ability to contribute to the fiscal health of the organization
- Willing and able to work outside of standard working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook), Google Suite applications, and Zoo
- Ability to direct, motivate, and develop individuals and/or teams
- Ability to travel 10-15% of the time outside of the immediate location
