Job Summary
Provide extensive training, analysis, and consultation to facility teams regarding Medicare, Managed Care, and state case mix payment systems. Ensure compliance with federal, state regulations, and company policies by performing periodic audits of MDS assessments and supporting documentation. Monitor payment performance trends and deviations to recommend effective changes to facility processes and systems. Serve as a liaison for state case-mix electronic submissions and MDS requirements while assisting in recruitment for MDS and MMQ vacancies. Requires a valid New York RN license, multi-facility MDS experience, and proficiency in CMI, QM, and PDPM. Based in Utica, NY, with a salary range of $160K to $180K; willingness to travel is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York RN license
- Multi-facility MDS experience in long term care
- Proficiency in CMI, QM and PDPM
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare reimbursement system, compliance and eligibility
- Willingness to travel
- Long term care/skilled nursing experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
