Job Summary

Oversee facility Quality, Regulatory Preparedness, and Excellence by managing mock surveys for TJC, CMS, CAH CMS, CIHQ, DNV, and HFAP standards. Conduct post-survey validation surveys and present findings to Governing Boards, while developing facility quality scorecards for quarterly MOR reviews. Support field CNOs, Nursing Directors, and Quality Leaders with operational guidance, patient safety initiatives, and constituent engagement processes. Coordinate mock survey master schedules, report writing, and regulatory compliance for all CHC hospitals. Serve as Quality Representative during Operations Assessments and provide leadership education to facility quality leaders. Plano-based position requiring 75% travel. Bachelor's in Nursing with current Texas RN license; HACP certification required within first year. Minimum seven years clinical practice plus three to five years in senior nursing or quality leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related clinical field
  • Must hold current Texas RN license or have the ability to be licensed in the State of Texas
  • Will require obtaining HACP certification within the first year of employment
  • Plano based position
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time
  • Minimum seven years hospital clinical practice experience
  • Three to five years in a senior nursing or quality leadership position
  • Required familiarity with Quality management
  • Required familiarity with Regulatory Reporting Requirements
  • Required familiarity with Patient Safety
  • Required familiarity with Regulatory Preparedness
  • Required familiarity with Case Management
  • Required familiarity with Process Improvement Programs
  • Current driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters in Nursing or related field is highly preferred
  • Previous consulting experience helpful
  • Multi-hospital leadership preferred
  • Rural or small hospital experience desirable
