Job Summary
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments by completing comprehensive evaluations to guide clinical recommendations and provide behavioral health consultation offering expert guidance to Soldiers, leaders, and care teams. Manage referrals by coordinating timely connections to military, VA, or community providers and coordinate care by maintaining communication among providers, commands, and Soldiers. Consult with commanders on behavioral health trends, risk factors, and readiness considerations while delivering training on resilience and suicide prevention. Provide critical incident support by responding to high-stress events and ensure program operations through data tracking, quality assurance, and policy adherence. Requires current unrestricted state licensure, extensive regional and nationwide travel, and government background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- Current unrestricted state license
- Multi-state licensure
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience
- Clinical counseling experience within the last 3 years
- Government background screening
- Extensive regional and nationwide travel
