Job Summary
Lead the development and expansion of Goodwill of Colorado's philanthropic presence throughout the Denver metropolitan area by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community leaders. Develop and execute strategies to grow philanthropic revenue through major gifts, corporate partnerships, and foundation support while building a sustainable donor pipeline. Establish trusted relationships with business leaders and key influencers to drive donor acquisition, retention, and pipeline development goals. Represent the organization at networking events and industry associations to increase awareness and support for workforce development and education initiatives. Monitor fundraising performance and pipeline activity using data and metrics to achieve revenue objectives and drive strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in related field
- Demonstrated success securing and closing high five- and six-figure philanthropic gifts
- Experience building a major gifts portfolio through proactive prospect identification and relationship development
- Proven ability to cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, corporate executives, philanthropists, board members, community leaders, business partners, and other key stakeholders
- Experience in a large, complex nonprofit organization or comparable fundraising environment
- Strong networking and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial and strategic thinker
- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable
- Relationship-driven with genuine curiosity to understand donor motivations, community needs, and philanthropic interests
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age (not engaged in passenger transportation)
- Must be at least 25 – 70 years of age for all passenger transportation services
- Must be at least 25 years of age for CDL
- Must have valid Colorado State driver license
- Must be able to operate company vehicle
- Must adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws governing vehicle operation
- Must have valid vehicle insurance
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must have vehicle in roadworthy condition
- Must undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Must undergo a background check
- Must disclose all moving traffic violations or vehicle crashes (within the last five (5) years)
- Must be able to drive
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in related field is preferred
- Education and equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in a large, complex nonprofit organization or comparable fundraising environment preferred
- Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other philanthropic supporters preferred
