Job Summary
Lead long-term care homes in Ontario by providing overall operational leadership to assigned Care Communities and managing budgets to ensure sufficient resources and staffing levels. Analyze and define operational plans for each home and the region to improve growth, performance, and quality of care while championing new initiatives for seniors and families. Ensure compliance with Ministry Acts, regulations, and policies; conduct risk management activities to protect the safety and security of residents and staff. Actively engage with colleagues, community partners, and regulatory bodies to drive organizational change and build an effective leadership team. Attract and retain top talent while aligning expectations to inspire commitment and performance.
Required Qualifications
- University graduate
- 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role
- Exceptional leader with operational knowledge
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results and continuously improving performance
- Strong financial judgement
- P&L experience in developing, monitoring and reporting on annual operating and capital budget
- Sound knowledge of Long-Term Care Communities Provincial Regulatory Framework
- Strong bias for customer service
- Passion for seniors and senior living
- Collaborative senior leader
- Powerful communication and executive presentation skills
- Extensive Travel within Province
- Travel within Canada
