Job Summary
Regional Director of Operations (Healthcare Dietary) leads a healthcare dietary team to deliver high-quality dining services within regulatory standards, develops operational strategies to improve patient satisfaction, collaborates on menus respecting dietary restrictions and regulations, manages food safety, quality, and inventory, and oversees budgeting to optimize costs while ensuring HIPAA and Joint Commission compliance. The role requires coordinating with healthcare professionals to manage menus, monitor compliance, implement quality improvements, and foster positive relationships with healthcare staff, patients, and families to ensure exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare dietary operations, preferably in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
