Regional Director of Operations

Job Summary
Lead a portfolio of Early Childhood schools in the Minneapolis area by providing coaching, accountability, and strategic direction to School Leaders. Drive enrollment growth and financial performance while managing regional P&L responsibilities, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality educational programs through close partnership with the Regional Director of Academics. Coach leaders on performance management, staffing, retention, and daily operations, while analyzing survey results to develop action plans that improve engagement. Collaborate with corporate partners to achieve regional goals and ensure compliance with licensing regulations and operational standards through regular on-site visits. This role requires frequent travel throughout Minnesota, including visits to each school in the assigned region, with travel potentially exceeding 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of successful multi-site leadership experience
- Experience leading teams across multiple locations
- Strong financial and operational management experience, including P&L ownership
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire leaders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Travel may exceed 50%
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Some evening and weekend events may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Early Childhood education, K-12 education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or another multi-unit service organization
- Experience managing enrollment or customer experience initiatives
- Recruiting and talent development experience
