Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of full-service hotels, driving financial performance through analysis of operating statements, budgets, and revenue-management reports. Deliver focused oversight for restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, and culinary operations while partnering with General Managers to develop strategies that increase outlet revenue and improve departmental profitability. Coach and mentor hotel executive teams, including Directors of Food and Beverage and Executive Chefs, through regular property visits and performance planning. Conduct comprehensive assessments to implement action plans that enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and quality scores, ensuring consistent execution of brand and ownership standards across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive Area General Manager, Regional Director, or comparable multi-property hotel operations leadership experience
- Significant leadership experience in complex full-service hotels with substantial restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, culinary, and event operations
- Demonstrated success overseeing multiple food-and-beverage outlets and improving departmental revenue, service execution, cost controls, labor productivity
- Strong knowledge of rooms operations, food and beverage, banquets, catering, culinary operations, sales, revenue management, engineering, and other full-service hotel
- Proven track record of improving financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, food-and-beverage results, and quality-assurance scores
- Strong understanding of hotel and departmental financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, revenue optimization, cost of sales, inventory controls, and operational analytics
- Ability to evaluate food-and-beverage concepts, menus, service models, staffing structures, purchasing practices, and operating hours to identify opportunities for improved performance
- Experience coaching and developing General Managers, Directors of Food and Beverage, Executive Chefs, and other hotel executive leaders
- Strong knowledge of food safety, responsible alcohol service, sanitation standards, and applicable operational compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and relationship-building
- Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Highly organized, with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities across a complex hotel portfolio
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned region
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-brand full-service hotel experience with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and/or independent lifestyle hotels
- Experience overseeing hotels with high-volume banquet, catering, wedding, meeting, restaurant, and bar operations
- Previous hotel acquisition, renovation, repositioning, outlet-concept development, or pre-opening experience
- Experience working directly with ownership groups, investors, and asset managers
