Job Summary
Develop and implement regional and local strategic and tactical plans for St. Joseph Mercy Health System laboratory services, overseeing the development and ongoing operations of RHM laboratories. Manage quality and standards of laboratory testing, performance improvement, program management, business operations, budget, and resource utilization while integrating services system-wide. Collaborate with system leadership to provide direction in operations, assist in developing strategic plans, and promote service excellence across designated areas. Lead administrative support and direction to leadership within SJMHS laboratory services, working collaboratively with the healthcare team. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a laboratory-related discipline, ten years of experience leading strategic planning, and MT (ASCP) licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a laboratory related discipline
- Minimum of ten years' experience leading strategic and business planning preferably within an integrated healthcare system in a competitive environment
- Previous medical laboratory experience with demonstrated success in quality/safety metrics, patient satisfaction, cost, business development, and service line strategy
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in either Business or Hospital Administration
- MT (ASCP)
