Job Summary

Lead MobilityData's presence across Europe by developing and executing regional strategies for funding, policy advocacy, and representation. Drive membership revenue growth, manage financial targets, and build relationships with government agencies, transport authorities, and industry associations to advance open mobility data standards. Execute annual planning for policy initiatives, regional events, and strategic alliances while monitoring legislative developments and contributing intelligence to global processes. Serve as the primary regional representative at conferences and high-profile events, identifying speaking opportunities and managing a regional budget. Report monthly variance analysis to the Global Engagement Director and maintain accurate market intelligence within the CRM.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in transportation, mobility, technology, public policy, partnerships, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic partnerships, stakeholder relationships, and business development initiatives
  • Experience engaging with government agencies, public sector organizations, transport authorities, or industry associations
  • Experience representing an organization through conferences, public speaking, working groups, or policy engagement
  • Strong understanding of the European mobility ecosystem and transportation policy landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in an international, remote environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with open data, open-source technologies, digital infrastructure, or mobility data standards
  • Familiarity with GTFS, GBFS, NeTEx, SIRI, or related transportation data standards
  • Experience working with European institutions, National Access Points, standards bodies, or international collaborative initiatives
  • Additional European language proficiency
  • Existing professional network within the European mobility and transportation ecosystem
