Job Summary
Regional Development Manager helps identify markets and opportunities for Surf Internet’s fiber and high-speed internet services by building and sustaining relationships with local government, community organizations, and key decision makers. Responsibilities include liaison with public officials, brand stewardship, event sponsorship identification and participation, providing market feedback to cross-functional teams, coordinating sponsorship opportunities, and presenting to councils and community leaders. The role supports sales as a brand ambassador, collaborates with Marketing, Project Development, and Operations, and requires traveling to support territory initiatives; a 4-year degree is preferred and telecommunications experience is helpful but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in growth roles (marketing strategy, business development, partnerships, etc.)
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience using CRM Hubspot, TEAMS, and Google Apps
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related fields preferred
- Willingness to travel and work outside of normal business hours
