Regional Development Applications Engineer

Job Summary
Provide high-level applications support for complex overlay measurement systems; manage in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head activities at customer sites; design experiments to characterize tool/subcomponent performance and develop use cases to drive tool sales; develop recipes to model complex optical applications and optimize tool performance; escalate and coordinate troubleshooting with onsite field service engineers; contribute to product development by designing test plans, analyzing data, publishing results, and creating training materials; collaborate with division teams and develop software offline tools for data analysis and feature development; travel worldwide (around 70%) to customer sites and centers of excellence in support of tool demonstrations and adoption.
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Physics, or related engineering fields (optics, materials science, microelectronics)
