Job Summary
Characterize new systems and features by designing experiments, collecting data, and publishing results as application notes or characterization studies. Drive product penetration and process optimization at customer facilities by solving mission-critical production problems, training customers, and managing local application escalations. Investigate technical needs, provide solutions, conduct final acceptance, and demonstrate products while reporting technology developments to Marketing. Support pre-sale and post-sale activities through performance group analysis and competitive methodology reviews. Requires up to 50% travel on short notice for trips lasting 4-8 weeks. Master's or Ph.D. in engineering preferred with semiconductor processing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Must be able to travel up to 50% on short notice
- Trips could be 4-8 weeks long
