Job Summary
Regional Demand Planning Manager role overseeing forecast accuracy across the Americas. Responsibilities include validating the monthly statistical baseline, reviewing forecast stability, attainment, and bias trends; providing feedback on outlier detection and model behavior; maintaining event calendars by market and channel; cleansing historical one-time events; distinguishing seasonal vs. non-seasonal inputs; creating and updating sales drivers in O9 (promotions, pricing, distribution, IBP decisions); replacing manual overrides with structured drivers; leading Demand Review preparation and presenting risk/opportunity scenarios; ensuring forecast alignment to retail sales trends; partnering with IBP Leads on mitigation plans; supporting New Product Launch forecasting and governor reconciliation; validating predecessor assignments and program sizing inputs; tracking WFA, FVA, Bias, Stability, and Attainment KPIs for assigned clusters/brands; providing insights to CoE and IBP Leads to drive process optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in demand, sales or business planning & analytics
- Experience with forecasting tools
- Experience with statistical forecasting methods and forecast accuracy metrics
- Experience with mature IBP processes
- Experience with O9 or Power BI or similar tools
- Familiarity with IBP / S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration
- Capabilities in Excel and data visualization
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with senior cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments
