Job Summary
Manage the regional Demand Planning process by driving the monthly S&OP cycle to establish a consensus demand plan and align strategies with sales, marketing, and product teams. Aggregate demand data from new and existing sources, incorporating market trends, portfolio changes, promotions, and new product forecasts to optimize inventory and service levels. Monitor regional demand constraints, risks, and opportunities while developing statistical models to improve forecast accuracy and support strategic decision-making. Resolve key supply-demand and service-cost issues to ensure cost-effective execution of the sales and operations plan.
Required Qualifications
- Subject matter expert for demand planning
- Experience managing the monthly S&OP cycle
- Ability to drive consensus for regional demand plans
- Experience combining new and existing demand sources (e.g., market trends, portfolio changes, SAP, CRM)
- Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management
- Monitoring and analyzing current and historical market trends and customer demand patterns
- Analyzing regional demand constraints, potential risks, and opportunities
- Inventory optimization
- Development of statistical models to optimize demand plans
- Measuring, controlling, and improving Demand Plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics
- Resolution of key supply-demand/service-cost issues
