Job Summary
Manage and prioritize high-risk, complex work plans for engineers on the Southern Water contract, resolving emotive customer journeys involving flooding and pollution. Coordinate in-day planning across all crews, addressing access requirements, permit compliance, and vehicle issues while maintaining productivity. Proactively manage the customer journey to resolution, ensuring 100% quality compliance on auditing and escalating issues per documented procedures. Collaborate with field teams, the Operations Contact Centre, and technical specialists to deliver solutions for waste-water network and drainage problems. Work safely in a fast-paced environment, mentoring junior colleagues and suggesting continuous improvements to operational workflows.
Required Qualifications

- Have great interpersonal skills to create relationships with the team, engineers, and wider Lanes Group network
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Have solid communication skills (both written and verbal) with professional telephone etiquette
- Be resourceful and proactive
- Multi-task, prioritise, work under pressure and on own initiative
- Have the ability to deal with people at different levels
- Be able to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
