Job Summary
Oversee daily construction project operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations while managing laborers, subcontractors, and site organization. Conduct frequent job site visits to monitor schedules, enforce safety rules, and complete daily logs and punch lists using Builder Trend software. Coordinate material deliveries, resolve safety hazards, and communicate progress with clients, project managers, and trades to maintain project timelines. Travel 75% of the time to inspect sites in all weather conditions. Requires a valid CDL, CPR certification, and ability to work independently under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 5 years in the construction field preferably in a supervisor role
- Leadership and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving and organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
- Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to establish good working relationship with many individuals including clients, PMs, subcontractors, and crew
- Must understand construction drawings, plans, specifications and be knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Travel frequently (75%)
- Obtain a valid CDL
- Be CPR certified
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of a job site in all types of weather
- Must be able to encounter hot and cold temperatures when outside on jobsites
- Must be able to encounter dusty, muddy, slippery, and wet conditions depending on the time of the year
- Exposure to characteristic construction site danger
- Strength Level: 25-40 pounds
- Must be able to complete a background check and pass a pre-employment drug test prior to starting and after an offer is made
