Job Summary
Regional Construction Senior Project Manager leads large-scale ground-up construction projects across a broad geographic area, overseeing multiple concurrent projects from due diligence and land acquisition through design, planning, construction, and closeout. Responsibilities include directing cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, consultants) to develop construction documents within budget and schedule, managing site feasibility and regulatory/compliance factors, leading risk analysis and scope Definition, budgeting, and scheduling, coordinating vendor selection and subcontractor procurement, conducting value engineering, and providing weekly updates on schedule, risks, budget, and cash flow using JLL platforms. The role requires overseeing municipal approvals, safety compliance, quality control, change order processing, and client handover, with extensive experience in design-construction cycles, procurement, and documentation (charters, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, status reports, punch lists). Preferred qualification path includes advanced degree or certifications, and a US-based, travel-heavy remote work arrangement within the specified Albuquerque, Lubbock, and Rio Rancho locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field
- 10-20 years of project management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and schedules
