Job Summary
Regional Communications Coordinator responsible for supporting the Office of Communications at the regional level, producing social media content (photos, videos, graphics), drafting internal content and promotional materials, conducting interviews with staff, inmates, and volunteers, coordinating media visits to correctional facilities, handling media requests, and preparing talking points and statements; requires travel up to 90% and involves using Canva for digital graphics, coordinating with correctional institutions and probation offices, and contributing to emergency/media response efforts. Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or its equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to travel up to 90% of the time on a regular basis
- five (5) years of professional work experience in communications, corrections, or a public relations role
- postsecondary education may substitute for up to four (4) years of related experience
