Regional Clinical Manager

Job Summary
Manage a large field clinical team to ensure business results and highest patient care outcomes through 1:1 travel, coaching, and performance management. Optimize clinical outcomes by applying best practices and ABIOMED training for patients on support, while managing patient implant coverage and customer communication. Recruit and build a bench for the clinical team, ensuring employee and customer competency through development and retention strategies. Utilize Per Diems effectively and travel 50% to 70% of the time, including overnight trips, to meet with the field team and customers. This role supports the Cardiovascular team's mission to improve heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke treatments for patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- clinical certification required
- 7+ years of related experience in cardiology required
- 5+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred or related
- Abiomed experience
- Experience in interventional cardiology required
- Experience in a commercial environment required
- Sales experience preferred
- Ability to travel 50% - 70% on a regular basis within the region to meet with field team and with customers required
- Overnight travel required
- Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required
