Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a dedicated regional route across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio, delivering dry van freight with an average of 3 stops per load. Manually unload freight from the trailer and place boxes onto a roller conveyor belt at each delivery point, while completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate logs for DOT and FMCSA compliance. Communicate with dispatch to confirm routes and delivery windows, secure and handle freight properly, and follow all safety protocols during loading, driving, and unloading. Requires a valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months of solo tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Weekly gross pay ranges from $1,670 to $2,020, with home time available Sunday through Friday or Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable SOLO tractor-trailer driving experience
- Acceptable driving record; no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physically able to manually unload freight at delivery stops
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during unloading
- Reliable communication with dispatch throughout each shift
