Job Summary
Regional Category Manager - Logistics Sourcing responsibilities include adapting local regional category strategies to meet regional needs, defining and implementing regional category strategy, ensuring adherence to global sourcing standards, coordinating category implementation with Heads of Logistics and Specialists, focusing on regional sourcing excellence, planning and executing regional sourcing events, monitoring supplier performance, overseeing supplier master data and contract drafts, resolving first-level escalations, driving continuous improvement and standardization of workflows, supporting new work instructions/tools/systems, and leading/training the team if present. It requires collaboration with Logistics, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business requesters, a solid understanding of sourcing methodologies, and current US employment authorization; sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Economics or related fields
- 4–6 years of experience in logistics sourcing management, with a strong understanding of over the road, warehousing and rail logistics sourcing
- 4–6 years of experience in a process or function‐related operational role
- Skills in spend category strategy definition, execution and communication from regional to cluster level
- Ability to handle confidential commercial and supplier data securely
- Current US employment authorization; sponsorship not available
