Job Summary
Procure direct materials (fibers, chemicals, packaging) and lead RFx/mass tender events to optimize regional spend. Manage supplier relationships and risk, drive cost reductions, oversee RFx execution, monitor procurement performance, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders. Role requires 3-5 years procurement experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement related field
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field required
- Experience in raw material planning, buying, negotiating, RFx, risk management, supplier relationship management
- Experience in either raw materials, fibers, chemicals, or packaging is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, or similar analytical tools
- Ability to travel within the region
- Located near Kaukauna, WI or other Ahlstrom site in US
- Currently authorized to work in the US on a fulltime basis
