Job Summary
Lead operations as the acting Business Office Director during leadership vacancies, leaves of absence, and community transitions. Assess business office processes to implement best practices that improve efficiency, compliance, and resident billing accuracy. Manage accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and month-end financial processes while training and coaching community leadership teams. Identify operational challenges, develop corrective action plans, and ensure adherence to Charter policies and regulatory requirements. This field-based role requires 75–90% travel including frequent overnight trips, with a requirement to reside in Tennessee or Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Must reside in Tennessee or Kentucky
- Three or more years of Business Office Director experience in senior living
- Resident billing
- Payroll
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Financial reporting
- Business Office operations
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and new communities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
