Job Summary
Lead the commercial launch of an in vivo CRISPR therapy for hereditary angioedema (HAE) as Regional Business Manager for the Minnesota region and surrounding states. Responsibilities include territory management and account development targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and HAE treatment centers; pipeline management and prioritization based on patient volume and prescriber influence; scientific education on CRISPR gene editing mechanisms and differentiation from existing therapies; strong clinical-data presentation skills with the ability to address safety concerns and misconceptions; and cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs, market access, and patient support to maximize access and patient impact. Requires extensive scientific communication, stakeholder management, and execution within a complex, high-value, long-cycle sales environment. BS/BA in life sciences or business, 5+ years sales experience in rare diseases or genetic medicines, and launch experience are preferred. The role emphasizes strategic account development, competitive differentiation, and delivering a comprehensive business plan to optimize patient access across the specified territory.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in life sciences or a business-related field
- 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in rare diseases, immunology, or genetic medicines
- Launch experience with product launches, particularly first-in-class or novel mechanism therapies
