Job Summary
Regional Business Manager responsible for leading the commercial launch of an in vivo CRISPR therapy for hereditary angioedema (HAE) across Detroit and Grand Rapids, MI. Responsibilities include territory management and account development, targeting immunologists, allergists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialized HAE treatment centers; building trusted advisor relationships with key opinion leaders and administrative decision-makers; maintaining a robust sales pipeline from awareness through patient treatment; educating healthcare providers on CRISPR gene editing mechanisms, differentiating MOA from existing therapies; presenting Phase III efficacy/safety data; addressing stakeholder concerns about CRISPR safety and cost; collaborating with Medical Affairs, payer strategy, and patient-support hubs to maximize access; executing a comprehensive business plan to maximize patient impact. Required skills include scientific communication, customer alignment and relationship management, problem solving in a complex sales environment, collaboration, adaptability, integrity, and a growth mindset.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in life sciences or a business-related field
- 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in rare diseases, immunology, or genetic medicines
- Rare Disease Expertise: Proven track record in rare disease commercialization with complex treatment paradigms and small patient populations (preferred but not necessary)
- Launch experience with product launches, particularly first-in-class or novel mechanism therapies
- Ability to analyze and present complex clinical trial data and real-world evidence
- Experience with complex stakeholder management and multi-site coordination
- BS/BA in life sciences or a business-related field
- 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
