Job Summary
The Regional Business Manager (RBM) leads and manages all aspects of their assigned region within commercial roofing, focusing on strategic direction, customer service, sales support, and regional personnel management. They ensure profitability and performance while fostering teamwork and quality. Essential duties include overseeing WTI personnel, facilitating communication between headquarters and the field, developing ongoing strategies for business growth, and managing financial data. The role requires effective crisis management, resource allocation, and operational oversight, as well as travel for support and meetings. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of leadership experience in the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make professional presentations to others.
- Strong problem resolution skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all personality types.
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience leading a large staff in remote multi-state locations.
- Experience in an influential role where extraordinary results were achieved through accountability and leading others to achieve and maintain a high standard of performance.
- Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth.
- Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability.
- Must have prior hands-on experience with handling business transactions, procedures, and practices.
