Job Summary
Regional Business Leader, Dermatology role overseeing a district across MN/WI/ND/SD/IA with responsibility for hiring, developing and leading a new sales team of representatives, collaborating cross-functionally with Healthcare Providers and Key Accounts, delivering clinical value, and driving Takeda's dermatology products through data-driven, compliant sales plans. The role emphasizes building a customer-centric culture, setting KPIs, coaching and mentoring staff, developing market-based business strategies, managing relationships with KOLs and healthcare partners, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in management within pharma/biotech/medical devices, dermatology experience, established dermatologist relationships, proven sales leadership, strategic planning, strong communication, and willingness to travel 50-75%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree – BS/BA
- Minimum of 5 years of management level experience in the pharmaceutical, immunology, biologic/biotech, or medical device industries
- Recent dermatology experience and established relationship with medical dermatologists
- Prior experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative with proven track record of success
- Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to coach, delegate, and motivate a sales team
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic and actionable plans
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Comfortable with emerging technologies and AI-enabled processes
- Must reside in or within close proximity to assigned geography
- Travel 50-75% to support the region
