Job Summary

Regional Business Director leads MCED sales in the region, managing a 6–9 person team of Account Managers and Early Detection Specialists, owning executive relationships with strategic accounts (academic medical centers, IDNs, large group practices), driving regional revenue, adoption, and growth targets, and translating national priorities into regional execution. Responsibilities include coaching and developing the sales team, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, engaging in DTP/DTC strategies to influence clinical decision-making, maintaining knowledge of products and reimbursement, and partnering with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Operations, Laboratory, IT, and Payer teams. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in relevant healthcare sales with leadership experience, strong account management skills, and ability to travel around 50% time; travel and field engagement are expected. Describes interactions with senior customer leadership and enterprise-level strategic collaboration, as well as the need to embed Caris Detect into clinical workflows and institutional strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (life sciences, business, or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in early detection, oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, or complex healthcare sales
  • 5+ years of proven people leadership experience with direct accountability for team performance
  • Strong understanding of physician relationships, clinical needs, and how to deliver service and technology solutions that support oncology care
  • Proven abilities in managing strategic or enterprise healthcare accounts
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel ~50% of time
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
