Job Summary
Regional Business Development Manager drives regional revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and serving as the internal/external authority on a specific industry, product, or technical field. Owns the full sales cycle within the territory, develops strategic regional plans, builds high-level relationships with clients and partners, analyzes regional trends, supports product development and launches, and guides market strategy. Leverages deep domain expertise to aid sales teams with complex pitches, supports new design and second-source opportunities, and works with manufacturers to broaden partnerships. Requires remote work with travel and a bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing (MBA preferred) and prior sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Prior sales experience required
- Experience related to the wire, cable, and tubing industries preferred
- Possesses customer service skills
- Able to manage day-to-day activities and exercise independence and adaptability
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to effectively interact with a variety of personnel at all organizational levels
- Ability to meet prioritized set objectives and goals
- Displays a positive attitude and professional appearance
- Possesses basic math skills including using Excel to prepare quotations
