Job Summary
Regional Business Development Manager based in Marietta, GA, responsible for a defined multi-state South/Southeast territory, driving growth through strategic prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling. Liaises with Design Department and Sales Leadership to translate client needs into compelling solutions, develops and expands relationships with commercial clients, national homebuilders, mult i-family and student housing developers, and industry partners, and represents the firm at trade shows and events. Requires travel up to 60% and regular client meetings, jobsite visits, and industry networking; uses CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and daily activity tracking; collaborates on proposals and client experiences, staying informed on market trends and competitive activity. Must reliably commute to the Marietta office at least weekly and be willing to travel nationally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience within commercial interiors, contract furniture manufacturing, or related design/build industry
- Proven success in consultative outside sales with ability to manage a large regional territory
- Ability to collaborate with interior designers, architects, procurement teams, and creative professionals
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
