Job Summary
Regional Business Specialist – Accounts Receivable provides backup to the Regional Business Administration Manager, collaborates with branches and cross-functional teams to manage accounts receivable. Responsibilities include preparing AIA billings and supporting documentation, generating invoices, schedules of values, lien waivers, and client billings for multiple cost centers with contractual deadlines; managing AR collections; processing contract change orders with SOX compliance; maintaining electronic filing and construction management software; providing audit support; identifying and implementing process improvements; ensuring SOX controls for invoicing; coordinating with suppliers for lien releases; partnering with payroll to resolve payment-timing issues; building relationships with branches and suppliers for accurate, timely billing; supporting month-end close; contributing to operational improvements to reduce turnaround times; drafting written communications; handling branch phone lines; generating branch reports; and maintaining electronic records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of general office or clerical experience
- Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable or related experience
- 1-3 years of construction AR experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with systems such as Textura, GCPay, Procore, Trimble Pay, CMiC, JD Edwards/Oracle is a plus
