Job Summary
Regional Business Analyst supporting Elsevier’s Academic & Government portfolio across LatAm. Works with Account Managers to demonstrate value through ROI analysis, whitespace identification, and retention modeling; prepares data-heavy commercial proposals for tenders and consortia. Drives regional performance via KPI tracking, ROI-based selling frameworks, and research-infrastructure initiatives; builds and maintains dashboards (Power BI or Tableau) and ensures data integrity in Salesforce. Communicates complex regional data in executive summaries for leaders and government stakeholders. Requires strong Excel and CRM skills, familiarity with AI/analytics tools, and fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Education: Bachelor's in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. Based in Brazil (São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro); full-time role with country-specific benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in business analytics, sales operations, or management consulting (ideally within EdTech, SaaS, or Academic Publishing)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, modeling) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Experience with AI, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is highly preferred
- Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
