Job Summary
Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead and mentor a multi-site Special Education program across Contra Costa County locations. Will oversee training on FBAs and BIPs, monitor instructional and behavioral support quality, support IEP-aligned goals, apply evidence-based ABA interventions, provide crisis management support, analyze data to drive interventions, conduct regular quality checks across campuses, develop on-site teams, supervise staff pursuing BACB credentials, and collaborate with campus teams to ensure regulatory compliance and program excellence. Position supports master-level clinical leadership, program development, and strategic QA across multiple campuses within the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field of study.
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential.
- Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training.
- Prior experience and/or knowledge in providing behavioral support, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting.
- Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), data-based decision making, functional behavior assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP's).
- Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.
- Prior experience and/or highly skilled in crisis management systems and intervention procedures.
- Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
- Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
