Job Summary
Regional BCBA leads clinical and educational interventions across multiple Spectrum School locations (K-12) in Southern California, delivering training on FBAs and BIPs, monitoring instructional quality, supporting staff to meet IEP goals, applying evidence-based ABA strategies, providing crisis management, collecting and analyzing data, and guiding on-site teams toward improved student outcomes. The role includes supervising staff pursuing BACB credentials, ensuring compliance with laws and internal standards, and collaborating with campus teams to sustain program quality. Requires a Master’s degree or higher in ABA or related field, BCBA credential (or in process), CA driver’s license, crisis management certification, and extensive ABA knowledge including FBA/BIP, PBIS, data-driven decision making, and ESE/IEP experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential
- Driver’s license valid in CA or ability to obtain
- Ability to obtain and maintain crisis management training certification
- Experience in providing behavioral support in special education or related settings
- Proficiency in ABA concepts including PBIS, data-based decision making, FBA, BIP
- Experience with IEPs and special education services
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff pursuing BACB certification
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
