Regional Aviation Planning Manager

Job Summary
Independently lead and manage a team of technical staff and project managers on multiple simultaneous aviation planning assignments. Oversee execution of airport master plans, layout plan sets, and facility studies while managing airside and landside components for airports ranging from general aviation to large commercial hubs. Identify and interpret FAA and state regulatory requirements, evaluate proposed improvements for compliance, and develop project scopes, budgets, and contract documents. Support project pursuit and proposal development activities throughout the Northeast region. This role offers a competitive salary between $120,000 and $165,000 with performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits including ESOP and 401(k) match, and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Urban or Regional Planning, Aviation Management, Architecture or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive airport planning experience
- 3+ years managing staff delivering aviation projects
- Experience in managing multiple, simultaneous aviation assignments & technical staff
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with AutoCAD AviPlan and/or AirTOPS preferred
- Possession of an industry-appropriate certification, professional license, or pilot's license is a plus
