Job Summary
Regional Advisor II is responsible for the development and implementation of admission, financial aid, and early outreach strategies that enhance identification, recruitment and enrollment of prospective students. Leads mentorship and training for staff and acts as lead on select recruitment programs. Identifies and recruits students from designated high schools and regions, coordinates with high school counselors, and conducts campus visits, presentations, resource tables, application workshops, and related programs. Advises students on scholarships, loans, grants, budgeting, and financial counseling, and reports on programs and outcomes. Requires extensive travel and availability for evening/weekend work; bilingual (Spanish and English) abilities preferred; strong presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to collaborate with universities, counselors, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of related experience in student services, admissions, recruitment, or financial aid
