Job Summary
Conduct market recruitment by visiting high schools, attending career fairs, and delivering community presentations. Manage an assigned territory with extensive day-time travel and occasional campus trips for trainings and events. Utilize CRM tools like Slate to track prospective students and assist in other outreach activities as assigned. Reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including eligibility for telework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- one year of professional experience in a related field
- two years of professional experience
- equivalent combination of post-secondary training, education and/or professional experience
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Public presentation skills
- Valid driver's license
- Extensive day-time travel within the assigned territory
- Reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area
- occasional travel to the campus for trainings and events
Desired Qualifications
- Prior full-time or undergraduate work study experience in a university admissions office
- Prior experience working remotely
- Familiar with Twin Cities Metro area, specifically the high schools and Community Based Organizations in that area
- Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, Slate, or other sales-related software
- Knowledge of higher education
- experience working with prospective college students
