Job Summary
Regional Account Manager responsible for managing business in an assigned territory; build and maintain distributor and end-user relationships, develop new business, meet annual sales goals, and support regional sales strategies. Acts as the company’s face to clients in the field and aligns territory growth plans with company objectives. Essential functions include developing and executing an annual territory sales plan, managing and growing accounts, prospecting and cold calling to cultivate new business, conducting end-user visits and delivering professional presentations to close sales, inputting and tracking sales data in CRM systems, staying informed on industry trends, providing product support and training to distributor sales teams, participating in industry tradeshows, collaborating with customer service, and identifying opportunities for process and product improvements. Additional responsibilities include submitting monthly expense reports and supporting marketing initiatives via events.
