Job Summary
Regional Account Manager responsible for building, managing, and growing the Western US customer portfolio. Sell equipment buy/sell and resale solutions to new and existing clients; identify opportunities to purchase used manufacturing and packaging equipment and parts. Travel weekly to client sites to document and catalog equipment, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, and generate cross-selling leads across divisions. Use CRM to manage leads and maintain timely follow-ups; meet monthly sales metrics. Requires college degree (prefer technical), 5+ years in food manufacturing equipment, strong negotiation and customer-service skills, and an engineer’s/technical mindset. Initial onboarding includes 8–10 weeks at corporate office in Evansville, IN; role emphasizes entrepreneurial, field-based sales capability and relationship-building across a multi-divisional organization.
Required Qualifications
- College degree required, preferably in a technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience with food manufacturing equipment and processes
- Technically minded with an engineer’s mindset
- Strong customer-service focus and background
- Demonstrated negotiation and closing experience in a B2B environment
- CRM-proficient and able to manage leads, visits, and follow-ups
- Ability to own the process start to finish and work independently
- Willingness to travel weekly to client sites
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Adaptability in a fast-changing environment
