Regional Account Manager, Central Italy - Hepatology

Job Summary

Develop and execute territory account plans aligned with national commercial objectives to grow Mirum's cholestatic disease portfolio in Central Italy. Build productive relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and multidisciplinary care teams while delivering high-quality scientific discussions that support appropriate patient care. Continuously assess territory opportunities using customer insights and market intelligence to identify needs and align resources for improved outcomes. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Compliance to translate insights into effective strategies while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Requires 10+ years of healthcare/biotech experience, fluency in Italian and English, and approximately 80% travel including overnight trips.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of business experience in healthcare or biotech industry in RAM roles
  • Significant experience in Regional Market access
  • Successful biotech/pharma product launch experience in rare or niche markets with a documented track record of exceeding goals in competitive markets
  • Bachelor's in science degree or higher
  • Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 80%, including overnight travel
  • Patient centricity and commitment to improving outcomes for rare disease patients
  • Strong territory planning and execution skills
  • Effective influencing and stakeholder management skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Liver diseases will be an important plus
  • Existing relationships within GI, hepatology or related specialty areas preferred
  • Experience working with hospitals, academic centres and multidisciplinary care teams preferred
  • Experience in liver and / or rare diseases is an important tplus
