Job Summary
Regional Account Executive for Mississippi & Alabama focused on expanding GeneDx’s genetic testing services through consultative selling to healthcare providers. Responsibilities include prospecting and closing new business, managing and growing existing accounts, delivering tailored in-person and virtual sales presentations, coordinating client meetings, onboarding and service delivery collaboration, leading regional educational events, staying current on Clinical Genomics offerings, maintaining a robust field presence (about 4.5 days in the field per week), achieving sales targets and KPIs, and documenting opportunities in CRM. Requires deep experience in healthcare sales or genomics, strong relationship-building with physicians and genetic counselors, and the ability to travel and engage with providers in person. Travel weekends/evenings/overnights as needed; territory includes the Southern U.S. geography (MS & AL). Open to remote work with field activities and conference participation; compensation $125k-$160k plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years in healthcare sales (preferably physician sales/services) or 2+ years as a genetic counselor
- keen technical aptitude and ability to promote multiple service offerings
- valid driver's license
- able to work independently and manage time and territory activities
- proficient in Microsoft Office
