Job Summary
Region Manager responsible for the entire region's sales operations across FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, AL, MS, LA, TX; manages distributor relationships at all levels to achieve brand objectives and profitable growth; develops incentive programs to hit sales objectives; conducts quarterly/annual distributor business reviews; builds relationships with key on- and off-premise accounts; drives brand awareness through tastings, consumer-activation events, and wine dinners; collaborates with National Chain Account Managers and executes chain development; organizes market visits with winery suppliers; requires knowledge of CMS/SWE/WSET certifications, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with distributor software; 5-10 years in wine/spirits industry and willingness to travel; resides in territory with Florida preferred; valid driver's license; able to lift/move cases of wine.
Required Qualifications
- Certification through CMS, SWE, and/or WSET preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understand and use various Distributor Software Systems including VIP, MicroStrategy, Encompass and Diver
- 5-10 years of experience in the wine/spirits industry
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Reside in the Territory with Florida being preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Able and willing to lift and move cases of wine
