Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership for Care Management functions across all hospitals in the Central Area Region, overseeing clinical operations including discharge planning, social work services, and patient flow. Develop and implement comprehensive plans to optimize throughput, reduce readmissions, and ensure regulatory compliance while managing utilization workflows and denial prevention strategies. Build partnerships with system leaders, payers, and community stakeholders to drive operational excellence and advance patient-centered care standards. Manage regional performance metrics, lead workforce development initiatives, and maintain audit readiness for federal and state reviews. This role requires up to 75% travel to NV, AZ, NE, IA, WI, MN, and ND.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Other Master's degree
- Bachelors Of Nursing
- Minimum of 10 years in acute care management including 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple facilities or a regional structure
- Proven success in developing and implementing large-scale care management strategies
- Registered Nurse license, RN
- Accredited Case Manager, ACM
- up to 75% travel
