Job Summary
Manage the credit review and approval process for a regional customer portfolio using the Cortera eCredit platform, including establishing and maintaining credit limits and verifying security information. Direct collection activities for all XTRA Lease branches within the region, overseeing delinquent accounts, insurance certificate compliance, and self-insurance requirements. Coordinate with legal departments and attorneys for collection litigation, authorize credit overrides, and conduct financial analysis through on-site visits and reference checks. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on account status for senior leadership. Requires a Bachelor's degree and five years of credit/collections experience; full-time role with up to $79,500 annual salary, 37.5-hour workweek, and 13 days of PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field of study
- Five years or greater experience in credit and collections roles
- Ability to travel for branch and customer visits
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and recommend possible solutions
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong organization skills; including the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Pre-employment background screening
